Lilac Design Studio is a residential interior design studio based in Saint Michael, Minnesota. Our design services include helping clients building new or remodeling their current homes. Our design services include sourcing new furnishings and styling to help complete these new spaces. We are passionate about creating thoughtfully curated spaces for each and every one of our projects that fit our clients’ lifestyles. We help our clients build their dream home by guiding them every step of the way throughout the design and construction process to completion.

Tracie credits her love of interior design and renovating old into new from her mother, who ran a small sewing business out of her hometown, White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She credits her designer/art-eye to her grandfather, who was a local artist in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Tracie grew up with a passion for art, nature & renovation, so it was inevitable to find herself in an interior design career that would work to inspire these goals for her clients’ homes.

Tracie is not only passionate about designing beautiful spaces for all of her client’s homes, but to also help create functionality and more efficient lifestyles within their homes. Growing up alongside her grandfather and his work, color & nature have always been key roles of inspiration in each of Tracie’s designs. Whether it be pops of color in fabrics, tile or décor, you will be sure to notice these staple trademarks in all her projects as subtle or bold statements.

Working with some of the top design firms in Minneapolis, Minnesota over the course of her career in the residential design field, Tracie has obtained a vast skillset working with a variety of styles from traditional to modern design. Over the course of her career, she has been recognized for multiple design awards and publications on her work.

Tracie is dedicated to executing every detail on all of her projects from beginning to end. She understands what it is to be a busy mom of three kids and knows her clients’ time is just as valuable as her own, therefore always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the vision is executed to perfection. She values her relationships with each one of her clients, builders or contractors and vendors alike and understands it takes a team with great communication to get the job done. She is always striving to complete each project within the timeframe and budget given to her, to ensure client satisfaction.
